Responsibilities:

  1. Service Calls and System Diagnostic / New System Installations:
    • Continuously pursue better by conducting thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on HVAC systems.
    • Utilize advanced testing equipment to pinpoint complex problems efficiently.
    • Collaborate with other departments for the installation of new equipment, always striving for improvement.
  2. Repairs and Maintenance:
    • Treat people right by performing skilled and complex repairs or maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Recommend appropriate solutions to enhance system performance and reliability, always keeping the customer's best interest in mind.
  3. Customer Communication:
    • Interact with customers professionally, explaining repair options, providing estimates, and addressing concerns with empathy.
    • Educate customers on the benefits of regular maintenance and energy-efficient upgrades, fostering a relationship built on trust.
  4. Parts and Inventory Management:
    • Do things well by maintaining proper inventory levels of equipment, tools, and parts for repairs.
    • Coordinate with warehouse teams to order necessary supplies and maintain accurate records, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  5. Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, prioritizing the safety of clients, colleagues, and oneself.
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures meticulously, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  6. Documentation:
    • Always pursue better documentation practices by accurately documenting service activities using company-provided systems and tools.
    • Prepare detailed service reports for appropriate personnel and customers, aiming for transparency and excellence in communication.
  7. Technical Expertise:
    • Stay updated with industry trends, product developments, and best practices, always seeking to improve technical knowledge.
    • Attend workshops and training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge, embodying a commitment to continuous improvement.
  8. Licenses and Certifications:
    • Pursue better by possessing and maintaining all required licenses and certifications.
    • Provide copies of valid licenses and certifications upon request, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism and compliance.
  9. Team Collaboration:
    • Treat people right by fostering a collaborative environment and working with fellow technicians and other departments for effective communication and service delivery.
    • Provide support to colleagues when needed, cultivating a positive and supportive team culture.
  10. Billable Efficiency:
    • Do things well by optimizing work processes and time management techniques to maximize billable hours.
    • Collaborate with the dispatch team to plan efficient routes and minimize travel time, always striving for efficiency and excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical services preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Service or installation technician in electrical services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair methods.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (minimum of 50 pounds), climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for on-call rotations (where applicable).

Qualifications

You must have these things: 

  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods. 
  • A valid US Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record. 
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. 
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, and the parts and installation teams. 
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out, and maintain inventory 
  • Properly complete paperwork. 
  • Join the on-call rotation. 
  • Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional. 
  • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
