We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our team in the Portland, Maine area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing HVAC systems in residential settings, demonstrating technical expertise, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service skills.

Mission:
As an Install Technician at Heritage, your role will focus on delivering exceptional HVAC installation services to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong HVAC knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Primary Coverage Needs:
This position requires availability primarily on Thursdays and Fridays to meet our service demands.

Responsibilities:

- Installation of HVAC Systems:
- Install and commission HVAC systems in residential properties according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Collaborate with the project team to plan and execute HVAC installations efficiently.

- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure installations meet industry standards and company guidelines.
- Adjust systems as needed to optimize performance.

- Customer Service:
- Interact professionally with clients, explaining installation procedures, addressing concerns, and providing system operation and maintenance information.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor while on customer premises.

- Documentation:
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly, including installation reports and maintenance records.
- Provide detailed documentation of installed systems for future reference and servicing.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines during installations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance with local codes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC installation preferred.
- Proven experience as a Service or Installation Technician in HVAC.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (minimum of 50 pounds), climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
